Both pads use dual-density foam for a more durable bottom against the ground and a softer top. Switchback uses silver side down and zlite uses silver side up. In both companies videos, you can see that’s how they intend them to be used. It seems like you would want the silver side up to reflect your heat like a space blanket. Could this cause a durability concern?
