That was one of the hardest backpacking trips I’ve ever done! Expect to cut your normal pace in half. I usually hike at a consistent 2 miles an hour but I remember I was only doing 1 mile per hour during the trip. Overall, an amazing place to backpack with no equivalent in the US.
