We hoped to get a weather window without much heat and humidity but we dealt with daytime temps in the 80’s with very high humidity.
If hiking the trail during hunting season we recommend wearing some orange clothing. The LSHT Hiking Club sells an orange dry fit shirt. Makes a nice trail shirt and supports a great organization.
