They had resupplied and were ready to get back on the trail. At that point, they were still looking strong with plenty of energy….hope it lasted! I was on vacation with my family from Richmond, VA ( elev 165.0). Two of my college age daughters are working in Colorado for the summer. Great visit! We just don’t have the same scale of views here in Richmond. Enjoyed meeting Dave and Annie on short ride up to the continental divide.

They had spent the night at Hancock Lake and were on their way to Mirror Lake to spend the night then drop down to Taylor Park for provisions. My wife Leslie and I, both in our boots and 35lb packs, were blown away by their ultra-light packs and trail running shows. Add 2 new converts to your list!
